Charity Shops – Tipperary Friends of Animals, Nenagh

The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA) is Ireland’s largest national animal welfare charity, and represents a number of affiliated member societies.  Together the ISPCA and our members help (Tipperary Friends of Animals, Nenagh), rescue, treat and responsibly rehome tens of thousands of animals of all different species.

Charity Shops are retail stores operated by charitable organisations. They accept donations of second-hand items, such as clothing, furniture, books and household goods from the public. These donated items are then sold at affordable prices to generate funds for the charitable organisation’s cause, whether it be providing aid to those in need, funding research, or supporting local community projects.

Charity shops also provide opportunities, and rely heavily, on volunteers who wish to get involved and contribute to their local community.
